Position Overview:
The Secretary Technician performs the duties of both a Nurse Tech and Unit Secretary as needed in support of the department’s operations. Provides safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care services under direction of Licensed Nurse and Medical Staff. Assists with unit staffing, recording information in the medical records, and ensuring that the unit’s reporting and documentation of information be completed in a professional and timely manner.
Responsible for leading and directing the overall operation of the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations, and in accordance with CMH’s policies and procedures to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to residents at all times. Collaborate with other CMH departments to drive comprehensive business results at the CCC.
