An essential daily job responsibility of an EVS Tech will be the cleaning of patient rooms for the hospital, including the possibility of cleaning COVID-19 patient rooms and/or possible contact with COVID-19.
As CMHS takes employee health and safety seriously, CMHS EVS Department will provide Personal Protective Equipment - PPE (mask, gloves, etc.) along with education and training for all EVS Techs to keep hospital employees and patients, as well as the community safe.

The Registered Nurse provides and supervises nursing care as established by CMHS standards of care. The Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within a patient care unit. The Nurse utilizes the nursing process in assuring comprehensive nursing care to a wide variety of patients and families. This is a full-time benefited position; the program is a 12-month commitment. The 16-week preceptorship portion of the program is divided into the four areas listed below and facilitated by content experts. Nurse Residents will have team training opportunities with Graduate Medical Education (GME), and work with ancillary departments to reinforce collaborative practice. Ensures that deficiency/delinquency data is entered correctly for tracking and reporting purposes. Medical Staff members are notified and held accountable for deficient and/or delinquent chart completion items per CMHS Policy and Procedure. The Medical Record Completion Coordinator will carry out the medical record completion process if the medical staff member does not complete their documentation in a timely manner per CMHS Policy and Procedure. The Medical Record Completion Coordinator will further support the department needs through assistance in any analyzing or other duties as assigned.

Staff Physical Therapist provides evaluation and treatment to a variety of complex in and outpatient diagnoses. Supervises daily professional patient related activities of Physical Therapist Assistant and Physical Therapy Aides. The High Risk RN Coordinator serves as an advocate and assists patients to reach optimal function and health in an appropriate environment that supports their needs. This position provides coordination across the continuum of care, from inpatient to outpatient to community. The High Risk RN Coordinator applies the process of assessment, care planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and coordination of care to meet the patient’s health care needs across the continuum in collaboration with Primary Care Provider, interdisciplinary care team members, payers, and social service organizations to ensure safe, quality and cost effective care. The Director of Facility Engineering is responsible for the overall operation of the Support Services Departments and the appearance and working order of all Community Memorial Health System (CMHS) buildings (CMH, OVCH and Clinics). This position works independently and in a team focused environment. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to maintaining the exterior of the building, parking lot, and common areas, maintaining all equipment in patient rooms, conducting monthly safety inspections and training the staff on safety and emergency procedures, and working with vendors. May respond to emergencies, and work with corporate maintenance on special remodeling projects or capital expenditure needs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- To ensure effective and constant communication within CMHS of all maintenance projects, construction, public safety and related issues.
- To serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team, Physical Environment, and Buildings & Grounds Committee.
- Coordinate the selection, training, development and evaluation of all Facility supervisors and staff.
- Collaborate with the Director of Rooms to foster a cohesive team environment between the Rooms Division and Engineering staff.
- Manage all the internal and externally contracted vendors and staff involved in grounds, facilities, and safety operations.
- Oversee and direct the planning, design, development, construction, and alteration of physical facilities at all CMHS locations.

- Develop and manage the facility annual operating budget as well as capital expenditure pertaining to facilities and development; monitor individual capital projects ensuring that costs, timing, and contract requirements are met.
- Prepare bid documents and specifications for capital and operating projects, and direct and oversee any construction and renovation activities and inventory control.
- Renew and approve invoices and requests to assure payments are made in accordance with contractual agreements.

Manages Chief Engineer and also directs and supervises all employees at the CMH and OVCH Facilities departments. Is responsible for the overall directions, coordination and evaluation of these areas. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Health System’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The Director of Facilities Management has a primary office at CMH however 15% of time is allocated to OVCH oversight with a minimum of two (2) hours of monthly onsite commitment.
