Salary Range: $24.00 - $24.00 per hour

Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Environmental Services Tech I (Housekeeping) - Part-Time, 8-Hour, 1st Shift Position Available
Position Overview:
The Environmental Services Technician I maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout the hospital in accordance with Community Memorial Healthcare's quality standards and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, surgical and procedural areas, bathrooms, laboratories, offices, hallways, and other hospital areas; maintaining environmental services supplies and ordering necessary equipment as appropriate; and following proper procedures for the handling and disposal of biohazardous waste.

An essential job responsibility of the Environmental Services Technician is cleaning patient rooms throughout the hospital, including rooms occupied by patients with COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, and the potential for exposure during the performance of assigned duties.
Community Memorial Healthcare takes employee health and safety seriously. The EVS Department will provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks, gloves, and other required equipment, as well as education and training on proper use, to help protect employees, patients, and the community.
